Fellows' Reporting Across California

Working in newsrooms across California, approximately 75 California Local News Fellows produce community centered journalism that reflects the voices, experiences and information needs of Californians.

Follow fellows’ work through Local California, our newsletter on Substack, and on social media at @calocalnewsfellows. Fellows’ journalism is also shared through our partnership with the Distributed Media Lab (DML), a digital platform that distributes stories through an expanding network of more than 30 publishers locally and nationally.

Together, these platforms and partnerships help extend the reach of fellows’ journalism and connect communities across the state with timely, locally reported news.
