I am a journalist because I believe in the service news provides communities in times of need. After growing up and watching my relatives use the news to inform themselves about government resources and programs, I'm inspired to offer news people can use. I served as the editor-in-chief and news editor of Sac State's digital student publication, The State Hornet, where I led over 60 staffers. I enjoy playing basketball and trying new restaurants around the Sacramento area in my free time. Food is my love language.
