Audy McAfee

I am a multimedia journalist who loves to explore all things related to arts and culture. I spent most of my adolescent years in Temecula, California. I found my reporting voice at UC Santa Cruz when I joined their student-led newspaper, City on a Hill Press. I have worked at KPFA and KALW radio as well as the Prison Journalism Project. I have been published in AfroLA, KQED, and Oaklandside, covering a wide range of topics from incarceration to nightlife in the Bay Area. When I'm not reporting, I am with my cats while binge-watching some fantastical TV show.
