Charis Johnston

I am committed to telling impactful stories that hold power to account for the benefit of communities and the health of democracy. I graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University, where I double majored in multimedia journalism and graphic design, competed in the 400-meter hurdles on the track and field team and served as editor-in-chief of the student newspaper, The Point. I have interned for inewsource, NBC 7 and amNewYork Metro. My hope is to spend my career finding and telling stories that matter, reporting with integrity and impact.
