Chrissa Olson

I believe people deserve compelling and truthful stories to help them make decisions about their lives, and I am motivated by the possibility to be of tangible use to local communities. I have covered elections, small business, housing, homelessness, politics, and more. In California, I have worked at NBC Los Angeles, CalMatters, the San Francisco Chronicle, and Easy Reader News. I am a proud alum of UC Berkeley, where I led the student newspaper, The Daily Californian, and learned to speak Spanish. Outside of journalism, I enjoy playing my guitar and reading.
