Daniel Hennessy

I'm a local news reporter based in Northern California. As a journalist, I have found an incredible amount of satisfaction while reporting in my community and for my neighbors. I think that truthful local storytelling is urgent, now more than ever. My work has focused on housing, city government, the environment, courts and politics. I am especially interested in writing stories about how policy decisions, bureaucracies and politics impact real people. My past work can be found in Oakland North, Richmond Confidential, the LA Times and Shelterforce.
