Elaine Alfaro

I am a Filipina American multimedia journalist from San Diego, California. I chose a career in journalism to hold systems of power accountable and amplify truth and facts in places of obscurity. I am driven to tell stories that get to the heart of the San Diego community and the issues we face. I have worked in several local newsrooms, including NBC7, the San Diego Union Tribune, the Coronado News and the San Diego Community Newspaper Group.

Elaine is an investigative and accountability reporter for KPBS covering San Diego's East County, click here to read the latest articles.
