Griffin Mancuso

Griffin is a San Diego native that moved to Humboldt County in 2021 to attend university, but quickly fell in love with its close-knit community and unique plant and wildlife. After the county was struck by a 6.4 magnitude earthquake in 2022, he decided to pursue journalism with the goal of serving his newfound community. He is passionate about covering natural disaster recovery and prevention, cultural celebration and preservation, and rural healthcare access.
