I’m a journalist and photographer with over two years of industry experience and a drive for getting people’s stories told. I’m from Charleston, SC and have worked for local newspapers in the Charleston area; including The Post and Courier, Moultrie News and Charleston City Paper. I have a strong passion for writing investigative and environmentally focused stories. Reading local investigative pieces during my time in undergrad, especially one that led to reforms within the Charleston Fire Department, is what inspired me to become a journalist. I’m excited to take on anything The Union has to offer.
