Lauren DeLaunay Miller

I am an award-winning author, audio producer, and journalist based in the Eastern Sierra of California. My reporting focuses on health, immigration, and the environment, always guided by the question: “Whose story is not being told here?”

My first book, Valley of Giants: Stories from Women at the Heart of Yosemite Climbing, delves into the underrepresented history of women in outdoor sports.

Lauren is a reporter based in the Eastern Sierra, covering health inequalities in rural California. Click here for the latest articles.
