I’m a journalist because I believe in the power of storytelling to hold institutions accountable and connect people with the unfolding world around them. I started out as an arts and entertainment reporter in the Midwest. I currently cover local government, housing, and business in Fremont and the surrounding cities in the Southeast Bay Area. I’m excited to start a new journey at the Mercury News, where I will be developing a brand new beat on aging in the Bay Area.
