I felt drawn to journalistic storytelling because of the endless possibilities to meet and learn from amazing people. They inspire me, and I get to express my creativity through multimedia formats with a solutions-focused lens. I’m a Cali girl born in San Francisco, so I feel blessed to be reporting in the Bay and focusing on the Indigenous communities on Ohlone land and beyond. Many thanks to the brilliant people from organizations who helped me find my way: NPR’s Next Gen Radio, Freedom Forum, KALW, Inherited, YR Media, KQED, AIR and AAJA.
